British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has condemned the decision to prevent Israeli fans from attending a football match, Idman.Biz reports.
“This is the wrong decision. We will not tolerate antisemitism on our streets. The police’s role is to ensure that all football fans can enjoy the game without fear of violence or intimidation,” Starmer wrote.
Earlier, it was reported that Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters were barred from attending their away match against Aston Villa in the fourth round of the Europa League group stage due to potential safety concerns.
