During the summer, a transfer opportunity to France emerged, with Saint-Etienne expressing interest in signing Jafarguliyev. The French club even contacted Qarabag regarding the potential transfer.
However, Elvin decided against moving to France and opted to remain with Qarabag, continuing his career at his current club.
