"Neftchi" has improved its position in the overall standings of the World Basketball Series in the 3x3 format among women’s teams.
According to İdman.biz, the victory in Debrecen allowed the Azerbaijani club to take second place in the current series. 100 points collected due to the success in Hungary helped "Neftchi" to overtake the French team in the overall score. Currently, Azerbaijani team has 751 points, while the Chinese team is the leader (998 points).
By winning in Debrecen, "Neftchi" qualified for the final tournament of the World Series to be held in Ulaanbaatar on September 16-17.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan national team, which scored 187 points and took 22nd place among 40 participating teams, also participates in the World Series.
