Basketball legend Michael Jordan's jersey from Game 3 of the 1998 NBA Finals has been sold at auction for $12.26 million.

Jordan wore it during Game 3 of the 1998 NBA Finals between the Chicago Bulls and the Utah Jazz. The $12.26 million sale makes it the most expensive game-worn basketball jersey ever sold.
The previous record also belonged to Jordan. The jersey he wore in Game 1 of the same Finals series was sold by Sotheby's for $10.09 million in 2022.
Jordan won his sixth and final NBA championship with the Chicago Bulls in the 1998 Finals. The triumph capped one of the most memorable periods of his legendary career.
