Azerbaijan air badminton team qualifies for World Championship

The Azerbaijan national team in air badminton has qualified for the World Championship.

The team achieved this by finishing second in the team event at the European Championship held in Baku from September 5–7, Idman.biz reports.

The World Championship will take place from December 11–14 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. In addition to Azerbaijan, Europe will be represented by the reigning champion Germany and Bulgaria, which finished third at the continental championship in Baku.
