Khankendi - Baku ultramarathon: The second stage is over

The second stage of the Khankendi - Baku ultramarathon, held jointly with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Baku City Circle and the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation, has come to the end.

Idman.biz reports that the athletes finished the second day in Ujar.

Agha Aliyev was the winner of the second stage of the marathon, organized with the slogan Run Forward Proudly. He traveled 84 km. While Elmir Askarov took the second place, Artyom Aliyev reached the finish line third.

In the race, which will last until March 4, the participants will reach the finish line in Baku after covering 380 km. They will reach the capital by crossing the Ujar - Hajigabul (88 km), Hajigabul - Gobustan (70 km) and Gobustan - Baku (55 km) stages.

The winners of each stage will be awarded separately. The overall winners of the ultra-marathon will be awarded the grand prize.

It should be noted that a total of 64 athletes compete in the ultramarathon. Among them are representatives of Turkiye, Mexico and Moldova.
