Today, the 28th Balkan Winter Athletics Championship will be held in Istanbul, Turkiye.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani national team will also participate in the competition.
Ekaterina Sariyeva, Rustam Mammadov (both triple jump), Kasgin Abbaszade (long jump), Lamiya Valiyeva (400 m run) and Alham Naghiyev (60 m run) will cross the finish line in the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games license championship.
It should be noted that 108 female and 131 male athletes from 21 countries will compete in the competition.
