Azerbaijani wrestler Mahammad Abdullazada has been handed a suspension.
As reported by Idman.biz, the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) has banned Abdullazada for 48 months for violating anti-doping regulations.
The wrestler tested positive for a prohibited substance, with the banned substance or its metabolites and markers detected in his sample. He was found guilty of using S4 Hormone and Metabolic Modulators — specifically, meldonium.
Abdullazada’s suspension is retroactive, starting from March 15, 2024, and will run through March 15, 2028.
