The U23 World Wrestling Championship is ongoing in Tirana, Albania.
According to Idman.biz, on the third day of the tournament, female wrestlers will join the competition. Azerbaijan will be represented in three out of five weight categories, with all three of our athletes starting from the 1/8 finals.

Elnura Mammadova faced Umi Ito (Japan) in the round of 16 and lost with a score of 12-2.

Gultakin Shirinova lost to Kyrgyzstan's Aruuke Kadyrbek Kyzy 9-5 in her first match.
59 kg
Gular Mammadova took on Indian wrestler Anjli in the round of 16 and was defeated with a score of 10-0.
So far, the only medal for Azerbaijan has been a bronze won by Greco-Roman wrestler Nihad Guluzade (60 kg), with Rashad Mammadov (55 kg) securing a spot in the final.
The championship will conclude on October 27.
