He spoke about the wrestling center’s opening ceremony in Fuzuli city, which he attended yesterday: “I thank the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation. They do not forget the teenagers living in surrounding districts and villages who are passionate about wrestling. Yesterday, at the opening of the new center in Fuzuli, the joy of the children and coaches there was clearly visible. It is such a pleasant event that wrestling is loved in the regions of Azerbaijan. As a former wrestler, it is my duty to support the youth. The opening of such halls will bring great benefit to Azerbaijani wrestling. Thanks to these centers, new world, European, and Olympic medalists will be raised in our regions. I am very happy to have witnessed these historic moments in Fuzuli.”
At the newly opened center in Fuzuli, under the leadership of experienced coach Vusal Eminov, 70 teenagers are training in freestyle wrestling.
