3 wrestlers of our team participated in a training camp in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm. Under the guidance of coach Kamran Mammadov, Rafig Huseynov, Gurban Gurbanov, and Asghar Alizade trained.
The bronze medalist of the Olympic Games said that the trainings were very useful: "At the end of the training camp, there were inspection meetings. Trial matches were useful for my teammates who were preparing for the Azerbaijan championship. For me, the first preparation after the world championship was excellent. A master class for young and teenage athletes was also organized there. The athletes liked it. Everything was highly organized."
The winner of the last world championship also commented on being in the top ten among Greco-Roman wrestlers with the most followers on social media: "I never thought about being followed on social networks. What I'm interested in is promoting my lifestyle as much as I can. I try to show the right path to the younger generation. Being an example to young people is my main goal."
It should be noted that the training meeting held in Sweden lasted from December 11 to 17.
