Cristiano Ronaldo makes film production debut alongside Hollywood stars

Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has ventured into the film industry, producing his first feature-length movie in collaboration with British director Matthew Vaughn.

As reported by İdman.Biz, citing the American entertainment publication Deadline, the film, titled "Stuntmen", is an action comedy following the adventures of two professional stunt doubles.

Hollywood stars Chris Hemsworth and Academy Award winner Sam Rockwell play the leading roles in the project.

According to the report, Ronaldo was also personally involved in assembling the cast, inviting renowned actor Matt Damon to make a brief cameo appearance.

The film is expected to be presented to potential buyers at the American Film Market (AFM) in the United States in the coming days. Its producers hope to secure a distribution agreement with a major international studio or streaming platform.

The project marks a new chapter in Ronaldo's career, expanding his business interests beyond football into the entertainment industry.

The 41-year-old Al-Nassr forward recently announced his retirement from international football after a 23-year career with Portugal.

Ronaldo leaves the national team as one of the most decorated players in its history, having helped Portugal win UEFA Euro 2016 and the inaugural UEFA Nations League in 2019.
