Arsenal are interested in Liverpool's 18-year-old forward Rio Ngumoha.
As reported by İdman.Biz, The Athletic journalist David Ornstein revealed on the FC Podcast that the London club have been monitoring the talented youngster.
"I think there is some interest from Arsenal in Rio Ngumoha. I'm sure many clubs are interested in him because he is a very talented player," Ornstein said.
The journalist added that Arsenal's interest in the forward dates back to the summer.
"I heard back in the summer that Arsenal liked him. But that doesn't mean Liverpool are looking to sell him. They want to extend his contract. His current deal runs until 2028 and, as far as I know, there is no agreement on a new contract yet," Ornstein noted.
Ngumoha is regarded as one of Liverpool's most promising young players and has attracted attention with his development at the Merseyside club.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are one of the opponents of Baku club Sabah in the league phase of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League. The two teams will meet in London on January 27, 2027.
