An unusual incident has taken place near Barcelona's training complex, where several supporters mistook women's team forward Caroline Nicoli for men's team star Raphinha Dias.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the confusion occurred when fans approached Nicoli believing she was the Brazilian winger.
One supporter became frustrated and demanded that Nicoli stop for at least two minutes to sign autographs and take photographs with the fans.
"I'm not Raphinha. I'm a woman!" Nicoli responded.
The 26-year-old Brazilian joined Barcelona from Manchester City and became the most expensive women's footballer in the Catalan club's history.
Barcelona reportedly paid around €1.5 million for Nicoli, setting a new club record. Before her transfer, the Catalan side had never spent more than €1 million on a women's player.
