AFFA President Rovshan Najaf has announced that Azerbaijan is fully prepared to host the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival, which will bring together young footballers from 189 countries.
As reported by İdman.Biz, Najaf shared his message on his personal Instagram account, expressing pride in Azerbaijan's role as host of the international football event.
"Our country is ready for the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival! We are proud to host this football celebration, which will bring together young players from 189 countries around the world," the AFFA president wrote.
Najaf expressed confidence that the tournament would provide participants with valuable experiences both on and off the pitch.
"I believe this event will give participants international experience, new friendships and unforgettable memories. I wish success to all teams, including our national team," he stated.
The AFFA president also addressed the young footballers directly, encouraging them to embrace the spirit of the competition.
"Dear young footballers, play with great enthusiasm, compete fairly and enjoy every moment. Perhaps the football stars of tomorrow will take their first major steps right here. Welcome to Azerbaijan, welcome to Baku!" Najaf added.
The FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival will take place from October 22 to 30 at the Hovsan Competition Complex, with the opening and final matches scheduled to be held at Baku Crystal Hall.
The first matches will kick off on October 24. With 189 countries expected to participate and nearly 1,000 matches planned, the tournament will bring together young footballers from across the globe.
