Bayern Munich are interested in signing a new contract with French winger Michael Olise, although negotiations between the parties have not yet started.
As reported by İdman.Biz, Sky Germany insider Florian Plettenberg revealed that Bayern's current priority is to extend the contract of England striker Harry Kane.
Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has confirmed that the club are not in a hurry to open negotiations with Olise, whose existing deal with the Munich side runs until the summer of 2029.
"We are not in talks at the moment. He has a contract until 2029, so there is no reason to rush anything," Dreesen said, according to Plettenberg.
Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024 and has since established himself as one of the club's key attacking players.
The 24-year-old was linked with a possible move to Real Madrid earlier this summer, but he remains at Bayern, who retain a strong contractual position regarding his future.
Meanwhile, the Bundesliga champions are focusing their attention on securing Kane's long-term future. The England captain joined Bayern from Tottenham in 2023 and has since become the focal point of the German club's attack/
