Real Madrid have been named the world's most valuable football club brand in the latest annual report published by Brand Finance.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the ranking includes the 50 most valuable football club brands, whose combined value is estimated at €79.7 billion.
Brand Finance noted a significant concentration of value among the biggest clubs, with the top 10 accounting for more than 60% of the total value of the teams included in the ranking.
Real Madrid lead the list with a brand value of $2.7 billion, ahead of Barcelona at $2.2 billion. Arsenal have climbed to third place with $1.77 billion, entering the top three for the first time in the club's history.
Bayern Munich are fourth at $1.74 billion, followed by Paris Saint-Germain ($1.73 billion), Manchester City ($1.70 billion), Liverpool ($1.69 billion), Manchester United ($1.65 billion), Chelsea ($1.1 billion) and Borussia Dortmund ($766 million).
British football dominates the top 50 with 20 clubs represented. Germany has eight teams on the list, Spain seven, Italy five and Portugal three, while France, the Netherlands and Brazil each have two representatives.
Stuttgart recorded the biggest increase in brand value over the past year.
