England striker Harry Kane has confirmed that he is set to hold talks with Bayern Munich over a new contract.
According to İdman.Biz, the 33-year-old's current deal with the German champions runs until June 2027, but both the player and the club are ready to discuss extending their cooperation.
"Now is the right time to talk about it. We will have discussions this week or next week. Both sides are very relaxed," Kane was quoted as saying by Abendzeitung.
The forward is expected to be offered a new deal that would keep him at Bayern until 2029 or 2030.
Kane joined the Munich club from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 and quickly established himself as the focal point of Bayern's attack. The England captain has remained one of the team's key players and leading goalscorers during his time in Germany.
An extension would underline Bayern's intention to keep Kane at the centre of their sporting project despite the striker being in the latter stages of his career.
