Barcelona’s 5–0 victory over Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Super Cup semifinal became the 28th big win for the blaugrana under Hans-Dieter Flick after 87 matches in charge.
According to Idman.Biz, under the guidance of the German coach Barcelona recorded a comprehensive win over Athletic Bilbao for the third time, having previously beaten the Basque side 3–0 and 4–0.
Barcelona have also secured two big wins over Real Madrid, winning 4–0 and 5–2, Sevilla with scores of 5–1 and 4–1, and Girona twice by 4–1. Three heavy victories were registered against Valencia with results of 7–1, 5–0 and 6–0.
The Catalan side also enjoyed convincing wins over Valladolid 7–0, Villarreal 5–1, Young Boys 5–0, Alaves 3–0, Bayern 4–1, Crvena Zvezda 5–2, Brest 3–0, Mallorca 5–1 and 3–0, Barbastro 4–0, Betis 5–1, Real Sociedad 4–0, Borussia Dortmund 4–0 and Olympiacos 6–1.
It should be noted that Flick has been in charge of Barcelona since last summer. The club won the Spanish championship last season.
