Juan Roman Riquelme, a veteran footballer from Argentina, has been elected as the new president of Boca Juniors.
According to Idman.biz, the 45-year-old ex-midfielder has won 63.7% of the votes.
This was voting with the largest number of voters after "Barcelona". 43,367 people participated in the election for the leadership position of the Argentine club.
It should be noted that Riquelme worked as the vice president of Boca Juniors since 2019.
