The final stage of the CEV Men’s Silver League kicks off today, with Azerbaijan taking on the Faroe Islands in the opening match of Round III.
The match will be held in Sandur, with Azerbaijan’s national team facing the hosts on their home court, Idman.biz reports.
Although Farid Jalalov’s side is seen as the favorite, an upset by the Faroe Islands is not out of the question. While Azerbaijan has earned 3 points from 1 of 4 matches so far, the Faroe Islands have managed to win 1 of their 2 games.
