Azerbaijan’s women’s national volleyball team has been relegated from the European Golden League.
The team's exit follows a disappointing performance throughout the tournament, Idman.biz reports.
Failing to earn a single point in six matches and winning only two sets overall, the national team finished last among 12 participating countries. Under the competition regulations, this result led to their relegation from the European Golden League.
Azerbaijan will compete in the European Silver League next season.
