Slovenia’s women’s volleyball team is holding a training camp in France ahead of their upcoming matches in the CEV European Golden League, set to take place in Baku.
The 15-player squad has already begun preparations in Toulouse, Idman.biz reports.
Team member Mija Šiftar emphasized their ambitious goals: “That’s why we’ve felt a strong positive energy from the start. We must stay focused and work hard. It’s crucial to perform as well as possible in the Golden League.”
Head coach Alessandro Orefice also expressed satisfaction with the team’s progress: “After the club season, we’ve had to readjust to the national team system. We know each other well and are moving forward step by step to be in top form for our first Golden League match.”
Following their training camp in Toulouse, the Slovenian team will continue preparations at home before heading to Baku for the opening stage of the European Golden League.
