Idman.biz reports that this was said by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov while commenting on the re-appointment of Faig Garayev as the head coach of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of women's volleyball players.
He emphasized that the name of the experienced specialist was written in the sports history of the country: "We would like his students to be active in the field of sports, even if not as much as him."
Stating that certain works have been done by the ministry to attract sponsors to volleyball clubs, the minister said that they are working for the development of the teams: "We always want our volleyball to develop. No one wants any of our clubs to be closed. Because there is suffering here. This is not good for our sport. There are many problems to talk about. But the ministry cannot help any club directly. Just as the support provided by the federations to the clubs is announced at the beginning of the year, as well as the support given to the federation by the ministry is specified."
