The Azerbaijani capital is hosting Category 3 events for players in the 14 & Under and 16 & Under age groups
According to the official Tennis Europe calendar, Baku is simultaneously hosting Category 3 tournaments in the 14 & Under and 16 & Under age groups.
The competitions form part of the Tennis Europe Junior Tour, which gives young players the opportunity to gain international tournament experience and compete against their peers from different countries.
The August 17–23 event is also part of a busy period of international junior tennis in the Azerbaijani capital. Baku is scheduled to host Category 2 tournaments for both 14 & Under and 16 & Under players from August 24 to 30, followed by another series of Category 3 events from August 31 to September 6.
Fans wishing to watch the matches and support the young players can attend the tournament free of charge.
