Azerbaijani taekwondo athletes continue their performances at the Universiade held in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region.
Correspondent of Idman.biz in Germany reports that three of our athletes will start competing on the next day of the competition.
Fuad Tahmazov (63 kg) began with a victory. He defeated Slovak Mateja Horvat and advanced to the round of 16.
Another athlete joining the competition at this stage will be Eltaj Gafarov. His opponent will be Hungarian Kelen Bailey.
Maryam Mammadova (53 kg) will face Thai Chutikan Jongkolrattanawattana in the round of 32.
