Mammad Abdullayev assessed the Korea training camp

Mammad Abdullayev, head coach of the Azerbaijan national team of male taekwondo players, told Idman.biz.

According to him, the Korea training camp is still operating at a high level. Combat and tactical drills are prioritized in preparation, according to Abdullayev: "Korea is the homeland of taekwondo. Here, our team plays trial matches against a big number of athletes. Naturally, our taekwondo players will benefit greatly from this approach. We've prepared ourselves quite well."

He noted that a license tournament for the European and Olympic games awaits the team: "We already have a license. This was achieved by Gashim Magomedov. Currently, our goal is to have the next licenses. Our taekwondo players are working hard in training to win this in March. Next, we aim for a confident performance in the European Championship in May. I believe that our team will succeed in these competitions."

It should be noted that the training camp held in Korea started on January 15.
