In order to promote, spread and develop water sports, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, together with the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation and the Baku City Circuit Operating Company, will next hold a mass swimming competition in open water. It should be noted that open water swimming competitions are organized for different distances in open water bodies (rivers, lakes, seas and oceans).

According to İdman.biz, anyone over 12 years of age who can swim from all regions and cities of our country can participate in the swimming competition called "Crossing the Kur", which will be organized between the two banks of the Kur River on September 2. It should be noted that the first open water swimming competition was organized last year, first in the sea ("Caspian Wave"), and then in the Kur River ("Crossing the Kur"). The race will be organized for the second time in the city of Mingachevir, on the Kur River, between professionals and amateurs at a distance of 300 meters.

To participate in the competition, you need to register in advance. There is no charge for this.
