The World Championship for Juniors and U23 in Kayak and Canoe will be held in Montemor-o-Velho, Portugal from July 23 to 27.
Azerbaijan will be represented by a total of three athletes, one woman and two men, Idman.biz reports.
Tatyana Smilovenko, who won bronze at the European Championship held on July 3–6 in the same age category, will once again compete for a medal in canoe. In the kayak events, Amil Ramazanov and Alimurad Haji-zade will aim for podium finishes at the World Championship.
