The Open Baku Rowing Championship will take place on June 18, organized jointly by the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation and the Baku City Youth and Sports Department.
The competition will feature around 100 young and junior athletes from Baku and Mingachevir, Idman.biz reports.
As per the regulations, athletes will compete in single sculls in both academic rowing and canoeing over a 500-meter distance.
In kayaking, events will be held in both single and double kayaks, also over 500 meters, with competitors vying for the championship titles.
