The Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation (AKAF) continues its ongoing efforts to promote and popularize rowing among children and teenagers.
In line with its mission to expand participation in the sport, the federation will organize a public event in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to mark June 1 — International Children’s Day, Idman.biz reports.
The event will take place at Dede Gorgud Park, near the Ganjlik metro station, offering young participants the chance to try amateur rowing under the supervision of professional instructors.
In addition to the trial sessions, the program will include musical performances and entertaining quizzes to help children enjoy a fun-filled weekend.
