A team of young Azerbaijani rowers has departed for Poland to compete in the upcoming European Championship.
The U19 European Rowing Championships will take place on May 24–25 in Kruszwica, Poland, Idman.biz reports.
Athletes from 27 countries are set to participate in the continental event.
Azerbaijan will be represented by four rowers — Azar Ilyasov, Tunar Mammadzada, Mahammad Alizada, and Jahangir Mammadli — who will compete in the men’s quadruple sculls event.
