"Legends of the Night" thrills Baku with high-speed action and stunt shows - PHOTO/VİDEO

Organized by the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation (AAF) and Baku City Circuit Operations Company, the "Legends of the Night" event was held in Baku.

The tournament, hosted at the State Flag Square, was held for the third time and lasted for two days, Idman.biz reports.

Twelve professional drivers participated in the race. They competed in 25 laps using compact cars that combine classic design with modern technology. In the end, Adil Akhundov took first place, Farid Guliyev finished second, and Elvin Khudaverdiyev came in third.

Young drivers aged 12–15 also took part in karting races. During the drift show, a Stunt Show featuring extreme tricks with cars and motorcycles was presented.

The main stars of the event were British stunt driver Terry Grant, holder of more than 20 world records, UK freestyle motorcycle champion Lee Bowers, and professional drift driver from Ireland, Neil Ghan.

The winners were awarded by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov and President of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation (AAF), Anar Alakbarov.
