"Saglam Mahalla" ("Healthy neighborhood") sports zone was opened in Agstafa district.
Idman.biz reports that the sports zone, which is the seventh in number commissioned by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has mini-football and basketball courts, table tennis, chess, as well as fitness equipment suitable for all age groups.
Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva, Head of Agstafa District Executive Authority Seymur Orujov and residents of the district took part in the opening.
European and world champion in freestyle wrestling Yusif Dursunov, silver medalists of the European championship in weightlifting Amin Osmanov and Muhammadali Mammadzada, winner of the 8th place in the U-15 European championship in table tennis Marziyya Nurmatova, prize winner of the U-15 Pro tours in table tennis Adil Ahmadzada also celebrated the opening with the residents of the region.
