A media tour was organized to the Goranboy Olympic Sports Complex.
An employee of the Idman.biz also participated in the tour, which was initiated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Media representatives got acquainted with the sports facility, watched the training of different units, exchanged ideas with coaches and teenagers.
Information was given about the activity of the complex, planned works and projects.
Tural Badalov, director of the Goranboy Olympic Sports Complex, said that trainings for 9 sports are held here: "The complex was put into use in July 2022. Currently, gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, swimming, judo, wrestling, MMA, football, weightlifting and chess sections are preparing here.
According to him, volleyball training will be started soon, and final preparations are being made in this regard.
Badalov emphasized that the national teams also came to Goranboy and trained: "The U-15 judo team recently held a training camp in the complex. On November 2, the under-18 team will prepare for this type. In addition, preparations are underway for the event dedicated to the martyrs' children from October 26."
