Azerbaijani national Wushu teams will participate in the Moscow Wushu Stars Championship.
According to the information provided by the Federation to Idman.biz, the national team will be represented by 10 athletes.
Azad Humbatov (42 kg), Khayal Ibrahimov (44 kg), Huseyn Mahammadov (45 kg), Humbat Mustafayev, Suleyman Kazimli (both 48 kg), Raul Hasanzade (56 kg), Rugayya Azerpur (52 kg), Fatima Azerpur (65 kg) will compete in theteenager category, Yusif Azadi (52 kg) will compete in the youth category.
Elchin Eminov, the 6-time European champion, will try his hand among the adults.
The team will be led by Eminov, the head coach of the youth national team, and Fakhri Namazli, the coach.
It should be noted that the tournament is a preparation for the European Championship to be held in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm on May 3-5, and the international tournament to be held in Kazan, Russia, on June 14-17.
