The Ministry of Youth and Sports held a gala ceremony dedicated to the sporting results of the year.
According to Idman.Biz, the event was attended by heads of профиль organizations and federations, representatives of media structures, titled athletes, coaches and members of the sports community.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and head of the Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva were also present at the event.
The ceremony opened with the ceremonial performance of the national anthem.
Welcoming the guests, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov noted that he was pleased to see all participants at the final meeting. In his speech, he emphasized that 2025 had been a triumphant year for Azerbaijani sport and congratulated athletes and the sports community on their achievements.
During the evening, the ministry also announced the winners in various nominations for the results of 2025.
