Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, has issued directives regarding preparations for the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Idman.Biz reports that the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan shared the information.
The minister met with representatives of the federations whose athletes will represent Azerbaijan at the tournament.
During the meeting, discussions focused on athletes’ training processes, the national delegation’s travel schedule, accommodation in the athletes’ village, and other organizational matters.
Gayibov emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan being properly represented at the Games and provided relevant instructions regarding the preparation work.
Federation representatives also shared updates on the athletes’ readiness for the competition.
