A protocol has been signed between Akdeniz University, one of Turkiye’s prestigious higher education institutions, and the Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA) to implement a dual degree program in Coaching at the undergraduate level.
According to Idman.Biz, the purpose of the agreement is to strengthen cooperation in sports education between the two brotherly countries and to create a joint academic and training environment for preparing professional coaches meeting modern international standards.
The signing ceremony was attended by delegations led by Akdeniz University Rector Ozlenen Ozkan and ASA Rector Fuad Hajiyev.
Under the new program, students will spend the first and fourth years at their home university, and the second and third years at the partner institution. Graduates who successfully complete the program will receive diplomas from both universities.
