The Olympic Sports Complex, which was put into operation in Yevlakh, has a capacity of 1,100 spectators.
Idman.biz reports that this was announced during a media tour organized at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex.
It was noted that the area of the complex, the construction of which began in 2024, is 5.8 hectares. It will include open-air sports fields, a stadium, a universal sports hall with a capacity of 1,100 spectators, wrestling, judo, rhythmic gymnastics, boxing, kickboxing, taekwondo, karate, fitness and training halls, and a swimming pool. In addition, the complex will also have a meeting room, a cafe, rooms for referees, coaches, doctors, commentators, a restaurant, and a 42-seat hotel building.
The Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex, one of the hosts of the III CIS Games, is also fully prepared to host other prestigious sports events.
It should be noted that during the III Commonwealth of Independent States Games, hosted by Azerbaijan, boxing competitions will be held at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex.
It should be noted that President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex on September 27.
