UFC President Dana White commented on the possible return of Irish fighter Conor McGregor to the mixed martial arts arena.
As reported by Idman.biz, White stated on the YouTube channel IMPAULSIVE: "Conor says he is coming back. He is in the drug-testing pool and doing his thing, he has everything he needs for training. I’ve been in constant contact with him in recent days. He wants to fight on the card of a tournament at the White House. We’ll see. We won’t be working on fights until February."
According to plans, the UFC event at the White House could take place in July 2026.
McGregor has a record of 22 wins and six losses in MMA. The Irishman won the UFC lightweight title in 2016, after capturing the UFC featherweight championship in 2015. His last fight was in 2021, when he suffered a stoppage loss to American fighter Dustin Poirier.
