UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria has commented on the court hearing related to his divorce from his wife Georgina Uscategui, which took place on January 7 in Spain, Idman.Biz reports.
The parties are currently resolving issues related to child custody. Speaking to journalists, the Georgian fighter said he remains calm despite the situation. “I am absolutely calm. I am not worried. Very soon I will see my little daughter. The priority is my daughter, my children and my family,” Topuria said.
Ilia Topuria is 28 years old and has been competing in the UFC since 2020. In 2024, he became the featherweight champion, later making one successful title defense. In 2025, Topuria went on to win the UFC lightweight title, further cementing his status among the elite fighters of the promotion.
