The trial of kickboxer Tulin Alakbarova, who was accused of hooliganism, has concluded.
Idman.biz, citing Qafqazinfo, reports that the verdict was announced at the final hearing held at the Narimanov District Court.
Tulin was accused of injuring another woman with a punch during an argument at a cafe. Based on the victim’s complaint, the kickboxer was brought to criminal responsibility.
Although the act could have resulted in a prison sentence of up to 2 years, mitigating circumstances altered the outcome.
As a result, judge Gultakin Asadova did not issue a prison sentence for the kickboxer. Instead, Tulin was sentenced to 6 months of restricted freedom (electronic bracelet). She is required to comply with the rules and ensure the proper functioning of the monitoring device.
