On November 17, the European Championship of under-23 judokas will start in Potsdam, Germany.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani national team will participate in the 3-day competition.
Men's team consists of Muhammad Musayev (60 kg), Gasim Valizada, Aydin Rzayev (both 66 kg), Gadir Huseynov, Nariman Mirzayev (both 73 kg), Maharram Imamverdiyev (81 kg), Ismayil Zamanov (90 kg), Ruslan Nasirli (100 kg) and Kanan Nasibov (+100 kg).
In women's competition, Konul Aliyeva (48 kg), Aydan Valiyeva (52 kg), Fidan Alizada (57 kg), Aytaj Gardashkhanli (63 kg), Sudaba Aghayeva (70 kg), Narmin Amirli (78 kg) and Nigar Suleymanova (+ 100) kg) will fight.
It should be noted that judokas from 37 countries will participate in the championship. After the individual competition, the team tournament will be held.
