A Cadet European Cup will be held in Guba.
The competition, which is included in the official calendar of the European Judo Union (EJU), will take place at the Guba Olympic Sports Complex, Idman.biz reports.
Athletes from 12 countries, including Croatia, France, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, and Turkiye, will participate in the tournament. Judokas competing under the flag of the International Judo Federation (IJF) will also take part in the European Cup.
A total of 140 cadet judo athletes from Azerbaijan will represent the country in the competition.
Azerbaijan is hosting the European Cup for cadets for the third consecutive year on May 3-4.
