Azerbaijani judokas went to the European Championship

Preparations of the national judo teams of Azerbaijan, consisting of women and men, for the European Championship among adults, which will be held on November 3-5, have been completed.

Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijan will be represented by 11 judokas in 9 weight categories in the competition to be held in Montpellier, France.

Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF) vice-president Elnur Mammadli and general secretary Rashad Rasullu visited the training camps of the national teams, were interested in their preparations, and wished the judo players success in the competition.

It should be noted that the judokas of the men's and women's national teams participated in training camps in Spain, Slovakia, Uzbekistan and many times in preparation for the European Championship.

In the European Championship, judokas will perform under the leadership of vice-president of Azerbaijan Judo Federation Elnur Mammadli, head coach of the adult team Richard Trautmann, senior coaches Elchin Ismayilov and Slavko Tekich, head coach of the women's national team Rashad Mammadov.
