"There was really great competition in Baku. We develop at the same speed as athletes."
Sara Alvarez, sports director for parajudo of IBSA, told Idman.biz while sharing her impressions about the Grand Prix that ended in Baku.
She said that the competition in which 198 athletes from 46 countries participated was great: "We are getting better at every event. Today, parajudo is stronger than before. She is growing and we are growing along with him.
Alvarez said that she will organize the highest level competitions from now on: "We are learning a lot. This is a fair statement not only for the organizers but also for the athletes. After that, we will hold top-level competitions for leading athletes. The contribution of the International Judo Federation (IJF) is also invaluable. After we started working hand in hand with IJF, everything changed."
It should be noted that Alvarez won silver at the World Championship, won the European Championship twice, and performed at the Olympics three times.
