H.Heydarov met Moldovan Petru Pelivan in the final and defeated him.

İdman.biz informs that Azerbaijani judokas Zelim Tckaev and Hidayat Heydarov reached the finals of the tournament.

H.Heydarov met Shakhram Ahadov from Uzbekistan in the semi-finals and defeated him. He will fight against Petru Pelivan from Moldova in the final.

Z.Tckaev defeated Uzbekistan's Nurbek Murtozoyev in the semi-finals. Oir judoka will fight against Austrian Shamil Borchashvili in the final.

According to Idman.biz, Azerbaijani judokas Zelim Tckaev and Hidayat Heydarov advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Zelim Tckaev (81 kilograms) overcame 4 opponents starting from the 1/32 final stage. He will face his Bulgarian opponent Georgi Gramatikov on the way to the final.

Hidayat Heydarov (73 kilograms) joined the fight from the 1/16 finals. The judoka defeated Romanian Alexandru Raicu in the 1/4 finals.

İdman.biz informs that on the second day of the rating competition, two athletes of the Azerbaijan national team reached the 1/4 finals.

Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg), the leader of the world ranking, started with a victory over Askrar Narkulov (Kazakhstan) from Kazakhstan, and then won against Eric Ham, a representative of Great Britain. In the 1/4 finals, he will face Alexandru Raicu (Romania).

Zelim Tckaev (81 kg) defeated Slovak Alex Barto, Alan Hubetsov (neutral status) and Alfonso Urquiza (Spain). He will face Georgiy Grammatikov from Bulgaria in the 1/4 finals.

After the first day, our athletes won two awards: Yashar Najafov (66 kg) won a gold, and Leyla Aliyeva (48 kg) won a silver medal.
