Tatami legend withdrew from the competition

The Rananamerican Open judo tournament has started in Lima, the capital of Peru.

As per Idman.biz, this is the last competition in the match in the judo calendar.

The tournament was to be marked by the presence of the legendary Teddy Riner. However, the three-time Olympic champion refused to participate in the competition.

The Frenchman, who won the championship in Marrakesh and Madrid this year, was planning to win ranking points. However, ordering only three judokas in +100 kg weight caused Riner to change his decision.
