Our team of teenage judokas was remembered for its successful performance in the team competitions of the World Championship.

In the final of the tournament held in Zagreb, our national team met with the French team. The match ended with a 4:1 victory of the French judokas. The teams of Turkey and Japan were awarded the bronze medal of the world championship.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani judokas won 4:1 against Greece in the first match. Our team defeated the Kazakh opponents (4:2) in the ¼ finals, and Turkey (4:3) in the semi-finals.
